Mom, can I drive your car?
Owen's nowhere near the legal driving age, but I still hear this question at least 3 times a day.
Drev, Momma, Drev?
This is Owen "driving" the car when he was 5 months old. He couldn't stand up on his own and his eyes barely cleared the steering wheel, but he has been hooked on driving ever since!
He'll drive with Chuck E Cheese.
He drives with dogs.
He's happy to drive in the house.
He's a good backseat driver, too!
With the air conditioning blowing in his hair and his sunglasses on... he's in heaven.
All the while, he's squealing "drev, drev, drev" and he's got the biggest smile on his face!
"Driving" is pretty much a prerequisite for getting him into his car seat.
Yesterday, while he was driving, I looked at his hand... do you see the little remote? That's the {formerly missing} $70 remote that we replaced after one of Owen's driving excursions. Apparently, he had just tucked it away for safe keeping and decided that yesterday was the day to pull it out again. Man, I was happy to see the little remote. I returned it to the office and I'm waiting for a full refund!
So funny and so cute! ~Julie
ReplyDeleteHehe, he looks so adorable. He's got the need for speed, and he's not afraid to show it!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it's more or less normal for kids to enjoy cars, no? They look like cool toys, after all, and they're more or less big toys for the adults.
