My sister, Alicia, told me about an article in Parents Magazine about Embroidery Hoop Wall Art. Even before finding photos of this project online, I loved the idea. It's such an easy and inexpensive project that really has big impact on a room. One day, when I have my Mom-Cave, I'm going to have an embroidery hoop collage like this one! Although, I think I'll paint the hoops instead of leaving them the light wood color.
Here is a link to more photos of this great idea!
I was trying to tell you about Nanna's wall art. Do you remember the little girls with the big hats on that she make. I had several around here. She also made me a set of a little girl and boy. Hope this gets to to.
ReplyDeleteIf I ever have a Mom-cave it will have soundproof walls and doors, a retina scanning device that only allows my retina. Then, one of those camera peep holes where I can see who is at my door requesting to come in, and if I deny them, they can fall through my trap door. Probably into a pool of foam blocks like at gymnastics, you know, in case the kids get denied! Whoo-HA-HA-HA-HA!
