I love you "To Infinity and Beyond"

Happy Birthday, Owen! I love you...To 2 Infinity and Beyond.

Yesterday, Owen turned 2 years old! We spent every minute of the day celebrating.  We saw Toy Story on Ice, opened presents, ate cut-cakes, and sang Happy Birthday to You as many times as he wanted.

The entire day was Toy Story themed.

PJs and breakfast bowl... Toy Story!

His presents... Toy Story!

He fell in love with this Duplo Toy Story Train set from Baby Bryce.  It's his 3 favorite things all in one... Trains, Toy Story, and Legos.  He hasn't let it out of his sight all day... it's even in his crib with him right now!

He got lots of calls and text messages, and even a special video from his friend, Tristen. (Which was played and replayed and played again and again and again)

Plus, Sara Beth came to visit and he got to have a special dinner with Bobby, Tyler, and Ben.

We went to see Toy Story on Ice.  He loved seeing all the characters and sat for the entire 2 hour show without moving an inch!  He even got to eat cotton candy! At first he refused to eat it, but after watching me eat half the bag, he decided it couldn't be all that bad! One taste of the sugary goodness and he was hooked (and also covered dripping in sugar drool).

I made him a special t-shirt for the day with silhouettes of Buzz and Woody.

My favorite part of the day was watching him opening presents with Daddy on Skype.  Brendon picked out a Tee Ball Set (or a swing batter batter, as Owen calls it) and a Rays jersey.

We finished off the day with yummy cupcakes!

I cannot think of a better way for the two of us to have spent the day together.

  5. LOVE the chalkboard sign and framed picture (can't think of word right now). Did you make them yourself or buy them somewhere?
